Graphic Design for Feature Films, Television and the Corporate World

For more than 25 years Shari has been at the forefront of the graphic design industry in Toronto working for such firms as Burns Cooper Hines, Comac Communications, and Reactor Art and Design. She provided a wide range of services... from corporate identity/branding, websites, signage and advertising, to print collaterals such as brochures, magazines and annual reports.

Over the years, she was also a contributor on more than 20 feature films, designing graphics and hero props.

Because of this association Shari decided to direct her efforts primarily towards the film industry. A member of the Directors Guild of Canada, she has created such things as Matt Damon’s dental records in Alexander Payne’s Downsizing; Ethan Hawke’s book on devil worship in Alejandro Amenobar’s Regression; Russian restaurant graphics for Lone Scherfig’s The Kindness of Strangers; literally hundreds of book covers for Ramin Bahrani’s remake of Fahrenheit 451 and 1960s signage for Hulu’s 11.22.63.
